St. Charles is a social services agency that provides case management, employment training and support, mental and behavioral health services, support services for court-involved youth, treatment foster care, residential treatment, and prevention services county and state-wide.

St. Charles seeks individuals with a minimum of a High School Degree as well as individuals with college degrees or licensure in mental or behavioral health-related fields who are dedicated to helping those we serve meet their goals.

Full and Part time positions (and internships) are available for youth care staff, case managers, mental and behavioral health counselors, licensed therapists, and administrative roles.

Yes. St. Charles works with staff to obtain their clinical hours and can provide supervision by appropriate clinical supervisors.

Yes. St. Charles has opportunities for individuals who are seeking internships in the social service field. Is there room for growth/advancement at St. Charles?

Yes! St. Charles has over 15 different program and service areas where staff can gain experience in direct care with youth or adults. These program and service areas include roles that are, clinical, prevention-focused, community-based, employment-focused, resource center services, as well as roles that involve case management and care coordination. Many staff gain valuable experience, move to different roles within the organization, and advance in their careers. St. Charles offers tuition reimbursement for those who are interested in completing related degrees and licensure.

Currently, 50% of St. Charles’ management team has been promoted from within!

What can I expect for a work environment? What’s a typical day?

A typical day and the work environment are different for different types of positions.

Community-focused: Many of our positions are community-focused so a typical day may be going to client homes, meeting with collaborative community resources, or working in various community settings with clients on one’s caseload. These positions require some flexibility in schedule to meet client needs but also afford for a flexible daily work schedule.

Campus-based: Some of our positions are campus-based so clients receive services at our facilities. Staff schedules are based on the needs of the program and can be first, second or third shift throughout the week.
